As a New Zealander my connection to 9/11 is probably very different to most of your readers and commenters by my father happened to be in Manhatten that day so I remember it very well.
When I look back on 9/11 to be in a band at the time most of been especially confusing: for example the original title of primal scream song āriseā was originally entitled ābomb the pentagonā which of course out of respect for the fallen they had to change. Plus techno animal second lpā brotherhood of the bombā came out on 9/11.
